Irvine, Calif. (October 29, 2012) – Round 7 of the AMA EnduroCross Series featured the largest and most difficult course of the season at the Idaho Center in Boise, Idaho on Saturday. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Justin Soulé showed heart and determination by recovering from last place to finish fourth at the end of the main event. Soulé led every lap of his semi to transfer to the main event and did not let a first lap crash keep him from challenging for the podium in the main event. Teammate Taylor Robert qualified with the fourth-fastest hot lap, but fell victim to the treacherous course and could not transfer to the main event. Making his return from injury, Bobby Garrison showed impressive speed on his KX™250F to win his day qualifier. In the night show, Garrison finished just behind Robert, also missing the main event.

Another Win for Taddy

Boise, ID (October 27, 2012) – The penultimate round of the 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross series took place inside the Idaho Center, just west of Boise and the packed house witnessed racing on the toughest EnduroCross track yet. The difficult track created a lot of action and KTM’s Taddy Blazusiak took another win despite a last lap crash that allowed Beta’s Cody Webb to get within striking difference. MVP Racing Backs EnduroCross Hot Laps

Irvine, CA (July 17, 2012) – MVP Racing has joined the GEICO EnduroCross series as the presenting sponsor of the timed Hot Laps that determine the gate picks for the Expert heat races. The hot laps put the top 30 riders on the track one at a time in reverse order of the current series point standings. The riders are forced to tackle the incredibly tough obstacles for a single lap against the clock. The top three riders earn the first pick in the three heat races that kick off the racing for the experts. Since there are 30 riders competing for just 11 spots in the main event during the night show, gate pick and a good start are extremely important to avoiding the chaos that ensues when the pack hits the rocks, logs, pond and other obstacles. Perhaps more important though is the bragging rights and confidence that comes with putting down a good lap time.

Heavy Medal

I use him as an example often enough that most people who know me, who’ve had the misfortune of having the “Canadians Abroad” debate, know who Cory Graffunder is. If you don’t, you will. Graff captured the X Games Bronze Medal in Men’s EnduroX at the start of July, and after three rounds, the former Xtinction champion, is sitting in 5th place overall with 53 points, a mere 4 points of Taylor Robert and Cody Webb’s tie for 3rd and 4th.
