From World Enduro Canada - For Immediate Release – Sept 5, 2012

    This Sunday Motopark in Chatsworth, on will host both the final round of the Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship and the Wiesner Insurance Ontario Cross Country Championship.  The top off road racers in Canada will be in attendance to dice it up with the best in Ontario.     

Walton Raceway will hold an Open Practice Day this Saturday, September 8th. All riding abilities are welcomed including ATV riders, as the day will be run in groups of skill level and bike sizes at 15 minute sessions. Practice will start at 10:00am going until 4:00pm, cost will be $30 per rider. On-site camping is available on both Friday and Saturday night for $10 per vehicle.

The Chicopee Ski Resort played host to the eigth round of the Offroad Ontario Cross Country series, and when the dust settled, because as this summer has proven there will always be dust, Brian Wojnarowski was on the top spot of the box with a nearly two-thousand dollar pay day, the largest pay outs for a cross country in Ontario ever. Josh Long, who had been seated in first in points, was forced to sit this event out and might be out for the rest of the season, with a broken collar bone.

The Nations Best

August 5th weekend brought the CMRC Monster Energy Nationals to the farthest round east to Riverglade Speedway in New Brunswick. We arrived at the track Thursday night to start to assemble the teams pit area for the weekend. The weather forecast was indicating this national was going to be a scorcher with weather reports projecting 38 degrees on Sunday! Track owners were already hard at work prepping the track including the new GP style section for Saturday’s amateur day and putting the finishing touches around the course for Nationals.

58 Years and Still Going

The 58th running of the Corduroy Enduro in Gooderham, Ontario is creeping closer with each passing weekend. Only four more remain until the big day and the online registry is open for another two weeks, so get on and sign up.

A picturesque farm just north of Guelph, Ontario set the scene for round two of this groundbreaking Championship series. Designed specifically for riders under 16 years of age, this series caters to the first time 50cc recreational rider to the experienced racer on an 85cc two stroke. With the aging population, many current off-road racers are well over 45 years old and the focus has been off our youth in the sport for many years.
