Toronto, ON – Power Sport Services (PSS), the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council (MMIC) and the Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council (COHV), is pleased to announce that the Canadian National Sportsmen’s Shows (CNSS) has agreed to produce the three western Canada Motorcycle & ATV shows in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver during the 2013 show season.

“Over the past several months, PSS has been working on the strategic integration of its operations,” commented Mr. Ramsay, President of PSS. “With close to 200,000 people attending the MMIC and COHV Motorcycle & ATV shows each year, we believe that the arrangement between PSS and CNSS for the 2013 show year is the appropriate next step in building on the future of shows.” added Ramsay. “These are exciting time for the motorcycle and ATV industries and we are all focused on innovation and leading edge management of these motorcycle, ATV and power sport vehicle shows”.

“On behalf of the whole CNSS team we are very pleased to continue our long term relationship with the MMIC and its new company, Power Sports Services,” stated CNSS Vice President Peter Lockhart. “We have a strong working relationship with many of the MMIC/COHV member manufacturers in our other shows and I am very pleased that we may continue to be of service to them again in the production of the western Canada Motorcycle & ATV shows”.

“We are delighted to be assisting in the management of the Alberta Motorcycle Shows along with the addition of the Vancouver Motorcycle Show for the 2013 Show Season under the newly formed Power Sports Services umbrella. We look forward to working with our previous clients as well as new clients, ensuring that the shows continue to attract motorcycle enthusiasts of all ages in Western Canada!” remarked Laurie Paetz, CNSS Western Region Show Manager.

MMIC began producing shows in 1985 and since that time there have been many advances in the management of the shows and how they are delivered and operated. The launch of PSS at this critical time in our economy, will give the industry the flexibility it needs to deliver improvements in growth and profitability. This new venture is just one more step toward ensuring success in serving the riding community and industry even better.
