Earlier this summer the Campbellville round of the Wiesner Insurance Ontario Enduro Championship had to be cancelled due to weather conditions leading up to the event. The replacement event has been arranged and the course is set to go.
This Sunday, July 27th is Round #3 of the Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship East taking place just outside the Town of Parry Sound.
The Off Road racing season is FINALLY HERE!!!
The long, long cold winter followed by the cold, wet spring has made the end of May seem like a year away. However it has finally arrived and with it the start of the highly anticipated 2014 Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship.
The 2013 Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Champions for east will be decided this weekend at historic Walton Raceway. After an epic fast race at Gopher Dunes two weekends ago, with MX Pro Nathan Bles taking the wins, this weekend event is shaping up to be another fast, fun ride that will entertain and challenge riders of all skill levels. On Sunday the CXCC East #1 plates will be handed out in all classes from Pee Wee to Pro.
This month was a quite month as far as racing goes however I spent a lot of time on my KTM’s testing my new 105 and increasing my practice moto’s up to 2 hour in duration.
WEC regrets to inform that due to excessive rainfall in Meaford over the past two days, the course that was in perfect condition and set to go is now in a state that may not be easily passable by small motorcycles. It is critical that the Mini Enduro events in this championship be passable by even the smallest bikes and the most novice of riders. Having a fun and an enjoyable introduction to off-road motorcycle competition is the very nature of these events.
Some action from the final round of the 2012 World Enduro Canada Cross Country Championship at Motopark.
Recovery time is over. The Royal Distributing Canadian Enduro Championships were a big success, no small part due to the dedication of volunteers and the passion of the riders at the events. Trudy Elder provided some amazing shots for Inside MotoX & Offroad's website. The name might seem familiar as her husband, Brad, suffered a terrible crash. We were all shocked when we heard what had happened; this was by far the most serious injury at the series to date. Keeping in touch with local know it all, Lee Fryberger, IMX is assured that Brad is on his way to recovery, and with a big sigh of relief, we post his wife's goregous photos and wish him a safe, speedy and complete recovery.
