Rain just before the weekend left behind "perfect" conditions for racers at the Rad Dad National Enduro in West Point, Tennessee. Factory Husqvarna's Andrew DeLong started his day strong aboard his FE 350, and maintained a solid top-three position through the first four tests of the day, but had to settle for sixth overall after crashes on the last two tests.
A slow start might have cost FE 450 mounted Renet significantly on day one, but come the end of the GP of Catalunya it was a very different story. Unable to match the pace of his classmates during the opening lap, Pela improved his speed during laps two and three to end the first day third and having won two of the final lap’s three special tests. Determined not to hand any advantage to his rivals at the start of day two, Renet was quickly up to speed while others made mistakes. Only once finishing lower than third during the day’s nine special tests, the Frenchman managed to keep himself out front and claim a well-deserved Enduro 2 class win.

The 2014 Enduro World Championship got underway in Solsana with the GP of Catalunya this weekend, with the KTM Enduro Factory Team reaping a slew of victories and podiums to launch their title bids.

Red Bull KTM Factory rider Ken Roczen made a welcome return to the US Supercross Championship on Saturday night in Houston’s Reliant Stadium when he finished third. Teammate Ryan Dungey made an impressive recovery from a first lap crash to finish seventh overall and salvaged important points in the championship hunt.

BRANTFORD, ON-Carrier Centers will be launching their new motorcycle dealership and Ontario trials store at their Brantford location this weekend, after becoming the sole Canadian importer and distributor for OSSA motorcycles, the eastern Canadian importer and distributor for Gas Gas motorcycles, and the Ontario dealers of both Scorpa and Montesa bikes.

Hoping to deliver a strong result for Husqvarna Motorcycles in the Enduro 1 class is Italy’s Thomas Oldrati, the team’s sole rider in E1. Hampered by injury during 2013, Oldrati is both fit and highly motivated as he starts his quest to put his FE 250 on the EWC podium.

Gopher Dunes is ready to make the long-anticipated announcement of our Opening Day for the 2014 Season!  This sure has been one bitter cold winter with record snowfalls and a winter that just wouldn't end!  Finally a few days ago the guys were able to start pumping water off the low-lying areas, having been delayed by the sub-zero night-time temp's.  Although our snow is now pretty much gone, it's the deep ground frost that has caused uncertainties as to when we would be able to open our facility, with the parking fields and laneways still very wet and muddy!
